After signing up to Jooping and after subscribing to the DirectCall service you will receive a new phone number - we call this number "DirectCall Number". It is a regular phone number with the format: +(country code)-(area code)-xxx-xxxx.

You will configure several International Destination numbers of your friends and family members. For each configured number you will receive a extension number to that DirectCall Number.

When you call into your DirectCall Number + Extension from one of your various phone numbers (mobile, home, work, etc), you will be connected automatically to your desired destination. When you call into your DirectCall Number without Extension, you will reach what we call your Personal Auto-Attendant. Your Personal Auto-Attendant will answer your call and prompt you to enter the Extension number of the contact you are trying to reach.

When your call comes into the contact that you have selected, he/she would see your regular phone number show up on his/her Caller ID. If your contact answers, you are connected and talk just as you do every day when you make a phone call. If your contact doesn’t answer, you leave a voice mail on his/her regular voicemail box.

You set up the extensions for your DirectCall service through our website. Just enter the first name, last name, and phone number into your contacts on our website and assign a DirectCall Extension to it. Come back anytime and add and delete contacts. These changes will be immediately reflected once you dial back into your Auto-Attendant. There is NO software to download and you don’t need a special VOIP phone.

You can initiate calls from either your webbrowser on you PC or from the webbrowser on your phone.
